Want to visit a place where none of your friends has ever been? Take yourself and your honey to Koh Phi Phi for the weekend or an entire summer. Take in the breathtaking beaches surrounded with some of the most clear and peaceful water you have ever imagined. The private beach resorts are to die for. The hospitality is unprecedented and the air is redolent with sweet freedom.

A get away on this stunning island will take all your stress away. Take one of the short trails to spectacular summit views where it will seem as if you are on top of the world. Take a long hike up a 300 meter vertical climb which consists of narrow twisting trails and 40 degree angled stairs. For those more adventurous there are several good rock climbing places and a few shops that can out fit you while you are there. If this still is not enough to get your motor running try the cliff jumping. Yes, try jumping off a perfectly stable cliff edge into the warm water below you.

This island was the home to the filming of The Beach starring Leonardo DiCaprio. The luscious lagoon their village was built over is just as remarkable as it looked on the silver screen. It is home to leopard and whale sharks. They like the smoothness of the water as much as you will. The occasional moray eel may slink up to say hello while you swim.

A visit to the Thailand Tsunami Village is a must. This is the village that was put together for citizens who lost their homes during the 2004 Tsunami. While these people were rebuilding the government put them up. The entire government of the island worked together to rebuild their tourism and their homes here.

A lot of the roads are now repaved but still are only used for foot traffic. The major modes of transportation here are longtail boats, bicycles and your own feet. The people are friendly and accommodating. This is truly one of the best places to visit in your lifetime.
