I need to find some discounts for a cheap cruise, Some of my family booked a Christmas cruise but it is costing more then $ 500 a person. I need to find it cheaper and I know with the economy it is out there some where. Please help, I am looking to leave out of Tampa Florida on the 24th of December 2009. A 4-5 day cruise on Carnival to Cozumel Mexico. Where are the deals?????

Things are certainly changing with the current economy issues, but historically there have been very few bargains in cruises over the Christmas holidays, and no deep discounts. And the ships seem to be sold out very quickly, too. You can find pretty good deals in cruises just before and just after Christmas, but generally not during Christmas itself. However, things are indeed changing, so why not meet with a travel agent?

I want to go to Las Vegas anywhere from December 17 to January 15. It will be two of us (my girlfriend and I), and I was looking around for some good deals for the flight + hotel + car. I’m from New York and I want to go on a trip during winter break in January, but I need to find something reasonably priced. I was thinking Vegas, but perhaps I would like somewhere a little warmer at that time of the year, so that I can get away from the cold for a few days. Even a cruise would be cool because I have never been on one before. Any suggestions of places to go or websites to check out would be great.

Try orbitz.com – its a very good website, offers choices of all major airlines plus smaller airlines which are often cheaper.

I have 5 days off work from Dec 23-27 and I’ll be traveling with my gf, we prefer to go somewhere warm and would like to spend around $ 350 per person. I already checked ‘last minute vacation’ specials on airlines websites and travelocity, expedia, orbitz, etc.. but didn’t see anything good.
Oh and we can travel ANYWHERE in the world, it doesn’t matter if it’s cold, anywhere besides Central US and New England.

If you’ve tried the airline sites themselves, try doing a search on Yahoo for them. There are plenty of sites that have these deals going on. Good luck!

I know the main websites such as Travelocity,Koyak,Sidestep. They are still expensive for late December time.Sometimes there are really good deals (besides for those sites) with different airlines that can save the fliers a lot of money. Flights are so expensive these days…
