Question by amo45: where can i get the best deals on travel from the u.s. to jamaica in january 2008?
I go with my husband and 2 sons every january and seem to check everywhere to find the most affordable vacationpackage maybe i’m missing something?

Personally, I highly recommend going to Park City, Utah. I snowboard there every winter and it’s amazing. Here’s a website with information on discounted lift tickets. I hope you have a great time and shred some snow!

I’m hoping to visit western Ireland this December and would like to start planning soon.
I’m not going to buy a 700 dollar ticket now though if Aer Lingus has deals from $ 250 roundtrip later on. I’d just like to know when these deals are offered.
To anyone who’s taken advantage of these deals in the winter time, when were they offered (mid-October, late-November, etc…)?

Though it’s unlikely that you’ll find a ticket for as low as $ 250 anymore (that will barely cover the taxes and fees on a ticket between North America and Europe), fare sales for the winter period often are offered beginning in the late summer (August and September). I’d keep checking back with the various airlines to see whether this pattern holds again this year.

Google hotels accomodation Ireland and it will come up with several sites Expedia is probably one of them and just keep looking until you find what you want

I know the main websites such as Travelocity,Koyak,Sidestep. They are still expensive for late December time.Sometimes there are really good deals (besides for those sites) with different airlines that can save the fliers a lot of money. Flights are so expensive these days…

Well, you get what you pay for; under $ 60 in the city will be a dump. You’ll find much cheaper rates at hotels close to the airport. Or you might look into hostels; in some you can reserve a room for two.
