Question by seppolemon: How long beforehand should I buy my tickets for International flights to get the best deals ?
I want to go home to Ohio from Melbourne, Australia for three weeks either in late-ish December for Christmas or in January. The prices are pretty high right now- 2000 is the absolute lowest I’ve seen. My question is- is this the ideal time to buy these tickets, or will the prices possibly go down ? Or up ? How long before I go should I book my flight ?

I usually check with expedia.com normally you can save a few hundred when you purchase roughly3 months ahead.
