Stuff Can You Auction To Save For Backpacking In Cambodia ?
Once I at long last made a decision that I was going for that prolonged excursion overseas that I’d been dreaming about for so long (and after I’d already paid for the plane flights).
Something occurred to me. Now how precisely am I gonna pay for this journey?
Vacation costs income, as well as a significant quantity of Vacation is gonna cost a big quantity of income. (see how I utilized mathematics there? smart hey.)
As we’re beginning our trip in South East Asia, any additional cash I can make will produce a genuine distinction to the duration of my trip. (you can effortlessly reside in Southeast Asia for as little as thirty each day)
Why don’t I promote my old cell phone on ebay? I don’t use it. It just sits in my house collecting dust.
And I’ve got these old bike boots that I have not utilized for like 5 years – they’re able to go too!
And then I asked myself the question…
Specifically how many obsolete individual things do I have, and how many of those may be valuable to somebody else?
& that’s the way it started…
Upon further inspection my office storage, the guest bedroom, my bedroom wardrobe & the garage were all full.
Every single square mm of dedicated storage In my residence was packed to bursting level of items that I in no way use anymore.
I purchased these things when, in order that they must have added worth to my daily life at a single position in time, So then surely they’ll add worth to somebody else’s daily life too?
As a result could promote them!
So I took some pictures of the items I desired to sell, opened my ebay account, and started loading up things available.
I bought some of the things I needed to take backpacking with me – like my travel backpack, all with the cash I earned from selling a few things that were sitting around my place
Being an example
Clothes
Old Cell Phones
Sporting Gear
Wow. I just paid for my Vacation Backpack, with cash I got from things I’d have stored in boxes for 12 months had I not marketed it. (keep in mind, every single bit of gear marketed today – would be really worth even less in 12 months time)
So that’s how I saved for my backpack to go backpacking. I off-loaded things which were using valuable space in my property, and now I have even fewer things to pack and look after (and think of) whilst I’m abroad.
The genuine question is… What is it that you have been hanging onto for years?
Probabilities are what ever it is, A person, Somewhere, Will need to get it – & partially pay for your big overseas travelling.
