Famous And Not So Famous Los Angeles Tourist Attractions

If you are planning a trip to Southern California, you cannot miss the Los Angeles tourist attractions that the city of angels has to offer. The city of Los Angeles has plenty of activities that will keep you and your family busy. Rancho La Brea Tar Pits has one of the world’s most diverse collections of extinct plants and animals. It is in the center of the city.

Head downtown and you can enjoy lunch in Chinatown and dinner on Olveras Street. Spend the afternoon touring the Union Station Museum, and the Performing Arts Center.

Venice Beach is an absolute must for any Los Angeles holiday. Street vendors and performers will keep you entertained, while you snack on delicious crab and shrimp. Right next-door is Muscle beach. Newly renovated, it is an outdoor gym right on the sand.

There are quite a few theme parks in the Los Angeles area. Disneyland, which is in Anaheim, is one of the most well known, but you will need two or three days to enjoy all of the attractions. Universal Studio’s is not to be missed. The tour is amazing, and you may get to see a real television show being filmed. After the tour, you can head to Universal City Walk, and enjoy some souvenir shopping and live music at BB Kings House of Blues.

An LA vacation is not complete without a trip to Hollywood. Graumans Chinese theatre is on Hollywood Blvd, and is famous for the cement blocks that are in the forecourt of the theatre.

People come from all over the world to see if they can fit into Clark Gable’s handprints or Marilyn Monroe’s footprints. The Hollywood Walk of fame has more than 2300 stars that are imprinted with the names of celebrities from television, film, live performances and recording.

Wherever you go in Los Angeles, you will have the time of your life especially if you find great Los Angeles attraction deals. The whole city is really just one big tourist attraction.
