December Cruise Deals Archives

Question by Rachel H: Help. Jealousy. Vacations.?
Ok so in Janurary my cousin is playing in a soccer tournament in Orlando. My mom says we are going for four days. Now a lot of my friends are mad because this is like almost the third time I have been to Disney within a twelve month period even though tecnically it has been over a span of three years. The first time in this so called ‘three times within a year’ situation was December 24-Jan 12006/2007. The second time was June 28-July 6 2007. The will be third time is some time in Mid-January 2008. Also in November we are planning to go on a Disney cruise then stay at the resorts for a week. Then people will be saying ‘four times in a year’.
The real question is how do I deal with the jealousy and mutiny of others? And them saying that I’m spoiled and stuff like that?
Also I forgot to put in that I really really am greatfull that I can go on vacations like this, and everything else that I have/get.
Thank you. Most of these are pretty helpfull. Although I did not even tell anyone. I got asked to go to a party, and I told them I could not go because I was going away.

Wait, what’s the problem here? Must be nice to be 13…

Maybe instead of being upset people are jealous you should be happy your parents are able to afford so many vacations. I have never been to Disney…

What do you think? Answer below!

Question by stef: I hate my job what should i do?
I hate my job. I am a custodian at a middle school. I work 10am to 630 pm monday through friday. I get paid decent money ($ 11.17 an hour) and i like having off on the weekends its just that it pretty much takes up my whole day. I really want to go to college to be a kindergarten teacher but i dont have time. Plus my boss wont allow me to change my hours around to help me go to school. She says i have to switch to a 3rd shift position but that could take awhile waiting for a position to open up. My boss takes off weeks at a time and i am left by myself to run the entire school. I dont like being looked down upon just because of my job. thats how i am treated by teachers and staff because i am a janitor. I think i am doing pretty well for myself though. I am 21 and I have my own house and am about to get married. Which is another problem. I asked my boss to have off december 16 through the 26 because my fiance and i wanted to go on a disney cruise and get married in the bahamas. he said he will have to think about it because we have programs we have to set up that week and he cant do it himself. which i understand. what i dont get is how he can leave me for 2 weeks to run the school all by myself and that is fair but i cant go away to get married and him be alone. Its like i have to get an okay from him to be able to get married. I would say okay im going to just go and deal with the consequences later, but my boss can be a real jerk and i will pay for it later. He always gives me the shitty end of the deal. I really dont know what to do. I want to better myself and i dont know how to do it. I feel like this job is holding me back in life. what should i do?
oh and i have enough vacation time to go away. which i dont get if i have the time why cant i use it. Plus i am giving him a 4 month notice.

Question by xenypoo: Are Liberals too tired to read this?
Read this and pass it to everyone you know, or you too can hit the snooze button and go back to sleep.

This is not very long, but very informative. You have to read the catalog of events in this brief piece. Then, ask yourself how anyone can take the position that all we have to do is bring our troops home from Iraq, sit back, reset the snooze alarm, go back to sleep, and no one will ever bother us again. In case you missed it, World War III began in November 1979… that alarm has been ringing for years

US Navy Captain Ouimette is the Executive Officer at Naval Air Station, Pensacola, Florida. Here is a copy of the speech he gave last month. It is an accurate account of why we are in so much trouble today and why this action is so necessary.

AMERICA NEEDS TO WAKE UP!
That’s what we think we heard on the 11th of September 2001 (When more than 3,000 Americans were killed -AD) and maybe it was, but I think it should have been “Get Out of Bed!” In fact, I think the alarm clock has been buzzing since 1979 and we have continued to hit the snooze button and roll over for a few more minutes of peaceful sleep since then.

It was a cool fall day in November 1979 in a country going through a religious and political upheaval when a group of Iranian students attacked and seized the American Embassy in Tehran. This seizure was an outright attack on American soil; it was an attack that held the world’s most powerful country hostage and paralyzed a Presidency. The attack on this sovereign U. S. embassy set the stage for events to follow for the next 25 years.

America was still reeling from the aftermath of the Vietnam experience and had a serious threat from the Soviet Union, when then President Carter, had to do something. He chose to conduct a clandestine raid in the desert. The ill-fated mission ended in ruin, but stood as a symbol of Ame rica’s inability to deal with terrorism.

America’s military had been decimated and down sized/right sized since the end of the Vietnam War. A poorly trained, poorly equipped and poorly organized military was called on to execute a complex mission that was doomed from the start.

Shortly after the Tehran experience, Americans began to be kidnapped and killed throughout the Middle East. America could do little to protect her citizens living and working abroad. The attacks against US soil continued!

In April of 1983 a large vehicle packed with high explosives was driven into the US Embassy compound in Beirut. When it explodes, it kills 63 people. The alarm went off again and America hit the Snooze Button once more.

Then just six short months later in 1983 a large truck heavily laden with over 2500 pounds of TNT smashed through the main gate of the US Marine Corps headquarters in Beirut and 241 US servicemen are killed. America mourns her dead and hit the Snooze Button once more.

Two months later in December 1983, another truck loaded with explosives is driven into the US Embassy in Kuwait, and America continues her slumber.

The following year, in September 1984, another van was driven into the gate of the US Embassy in Beirut and America slept.

Soon the terrorism spreads to Europe. In April 1985 a bomb explodes in a restaurant frequented by US soldiers in Madrid.

Then in August 1985 a Volkswagen loaded with explosives is driven into the main gate of the US Air Force Base at Rhein-Main, 22 are killed and the snooze alarm is buzzing louder and louder as US interests are continually attacked.

Fifty-nine days later in 1985< /U>, a cruise ship, the Achille Lauro is hijacked and we watched as an American in a wheelchair is singled out of the passenger list and executed.

The terrorists then shift their tactics to bombing civilian airliners when they bomb TWA Flight 840 in April of 1986 that killed 4 and the most tragic bombing, Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland in 1988, killing 259.

Clinton treated these terrorist acts as crimes; in fact we are still trying to bring these people to trial. These are acts of war.

The wake up alarm is getting louder and louder.

The terrorists decide to bring the fight to America. In January 1993, two CIA agents are shot and killed as they enter CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia.

The following month, February 1993, a group of terrorists are arrested after a rented van packed with explosives is driven into the underground parking garage of the World Trade Center in New York City. Six people are killed and over 1000 are injured. Still, this is a crime and not an act of war? The Snooze alarm is depressed again.

Then in November 1995 a car bomb explodes at a US military complex in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia killing seven service men and women.

A few months later in June of 1996, another truck bomb explodes only 35 yards from the US military compound in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. It destroys the Khobar Towers, a US Air Force barracks, killing 19 and injuring over 500. The terrorists are getting braver and smarter as they see that America does not respond decisively.

They move to coordinate their attacks in a simultaneous attack on two US embassies in Keny a and Tanzania. These attacks were planned with precision. They kill 224. America responds with cruise missile attacks and goes back to sleep.

The USS Cole was docked in the port of Aden, Yemen for refueling on 12 October 2000, when a small craft pulled along side the ship and exploded killing 17 US Navy Sailors. Attacking a US War Ship is an act of war, but we sent the FBI to investigate the crime and went back to sleep.

And of course you know the events of 11 September 2001. Most Americans think this was the first attack against US soil or in America. How wrong they are. America has been under a constant attack since 1979 and we chose to hit the snooze alarm and roll over and go back to sleep!!!

In the news lately we have seen lots of finger pointing from every high official in government over what they knew and what they didn’t know. But if you’ve read the papers and paid a little attention I think you can see exactly what they knew. You don’t have to be in the FBI or CIA or on the National Security Council to see the pattern that has been developing since 1979.

I think we have been in a war for the past 25 years and it will continue until we as a people decide enough is enough! Ameri ca needs to “Get out of Bed” and act decisively now. America has been changed forever. We have to be ready to pay the price and make the sacrifice to ensure our way of life continues. We cannot afford to keep hitting the snooze button again and again and roll over and go back to sleep.

After the attack on Pearl Harbor, Admiral Yamamoto said “… it seems all we have done is awakened a sleeping giant.” This is the message we need to disseminate to terrorists around the world.

This is not a political thing to be hashed over in an election year, this is an AMERICAN thing. This is about our Freedom and the Freedom of our children in years to come.

If you believe in this please forward it to as many people as you can– especially to the young people and all those who dozed off in history class and who seem so quick to protest such a necessary military action. If you don’t believe it, just delete it and go back to sleep
Lindsay, Bush was only the President for a very short time, BEFORE 9/11. Clinton held back the keys he needed to the offices of the FBI, and CIA from him 2 months prior to Mr. Bush taking office. Did you think Mr. Bush was psychic? He was ill-informed, the same way Condoleeza Rice, and Andrew Card were, due to Clinton’s hatred of the Bush Family, and doing the right thing by you, as an American. If Clinton wanted to do the right thing, he would have accepted the free offer of bin Laden the 7 times, he was offered up to America, by Syria.

Then in November 1995 a car bomb explodes at a US military complex in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia killing seven service men and women.

A few months later in June of 1996, another truck bomb explodes only 35 yards from the US military compound in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. It destroys the Khobar Towers, a US A ir Force barracks, killing 19 and injuring over 500. The terrorists are getting braver and smarter as they see that America does not respond decisively.

They move to coordinate their attacks in a simultaneous attack on two US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania..

America has been under a constant attack since 1979 and we chose to hit the snooze alarm and roll over and go back to sleep.

In the news lately we hav e seen lots of finger pointing from every high officials in government over what they knew and what they didn’t know. But if you’ve read the papers and paid a little attention I think you can see exactly what they knew. You don’t have to be in the FBI or CIA or on the National Security Council to see the pattern that has been developing since 1979.

I think we have been in a war for the past 25 years and it will continue until we as a people decide enough is enough. America needs to “Get out of Bed” and act decisively now. America has been changed forever.. We have to be ready to pay the price and make the sacrifice to ensure our way of life continues. We cannot afford to keep hitting the snooze button again and again and roll over and go back to sleep.

After the attack on Pearl Harbor, Admiral Yamamoto said “… it seems all we have done is awaken a sleeping giant.” This is the message we need to disseminate to terrorists around the world. This is not a political thing to be hashed over in an election year – this is an AMERICAN thing. This is about our Freedom and the Freedom of our children in years to come.

Question by Nick E: Me and my wife want to travel sometime during the week of Dec 13th, and return no later than Dec 19th.?
We live 200 miles south of Chicago, and are only requirement is we want to go somewhere warm and nice for December. We really don’t can’t we just want warm nice weather, and ocean view, so a resort or a cruise would work. Do you think we could get a better last minute deal, or book ahead? We don’t travel often so any advice appreciated. We do have passports, and looking at max a 4 night stay somewhere.
I should have added we don’t want to spend more then around $ 750 per person for the trip expenses. We plan on about another $ 700 set aside for stuff to do on the trip.
Somewhere like Hawaii is not reasonable for us, because the flight would be so long, and we only want to stay max 4 nights.

When WWIII Started****1979

This is not very long, but very informative. You have to read the catalogue of events in this brief piece. Then, ask yourself how anyone can take the position that all we have to do is bring our troops home from Iraq, sit back, reset the snooze alarm, go back to sleep, and no one will ever bother us again. In case you missed it, World War III began in November 1979… that alarm has be en ringing for years

US Navy Captain Ouimette the Executive Officer at Naval Air Station, Pensacola, Florida . Here is a copy of the speech he gave in 2003.

It was a cool fall day in November 1979 in a country going through a religious and political upheaval when a group of Iranian students attacked and seized the American Embassy in Tehran . This seizure was an outright attack on American soil; it was an attack that held the world’s most powerful country hostage and paralyzed a Presidency. The attack on this sovereign U. S. embassy set the stage for events to follow for the next 25 years.

America was still reeling from the aftermath of the Vietnam experience and had a serious threat from the Soviet Union when then, President Carter, had to do something. He chose to conduct a clandestine raid in the desert. The ill-fated mission ended in ruin, but stood as a symbol ofAmerica’s inability to deal with terrorism.

In April of 1983 a large vehicle packed with high explosives was driven into the US Embassy compound in Beirut When it explodes, it kills 63 people. The alarm went off again and America hit the Snooze Button once more.

Then just six short months later in 1983 a large truck heavily laden down with ove r 2500 pounds of TNT smashed through the main gate of the USMarine Corps headquarters in Beirut and 241 US servicemen are killed.

Fifty-nine days later in 1985 a cruise ship, the Achille Lauro is hijacked and we watched as an American in a wheelchair is singled out of the passenger list and executed.

The terrorists then shift their tactics to bombing civilian airliners when they bomb TWA Flight 840 in April of 1986 that killed 4 and the most tragic bombing, Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland in1988, killing 259.

Clinton treated these terrorist acts as crimes; in fact we are still trying to bring these people to trial. These are acts of war!

The wake up alarm is getting louder and louder.

The terrorists decide to bring the fight to America. In January 1993, two CIA agents are shot and killed as they enter CIA headquarters in Langley,Virginia.

Question by C is the Man: What can I do about losing weight?
Alright here is the deal I am a 20 year old MALE and I weight about 200 pounds, I stand 6 feet 3 inches tall. Yes I know doesn’t sound like I am overweight but I have a potbelly and I am shame to say but I also have man boobs (em-brassing, not huge but could be noticeable in some shirts). It seems like everything goes to my belly and breast, for my legs and arms are average size. Also I am a very picky eater I only eat things like pizza, hamburgers(plain only the meat and bun), salads (only lettuce) with oil and vinegar, and chicken fingers. I don’t like a lot of fruits; I only like grapes, apples, and oranges. I rarely eat fruit because sometimes it makes my throat itch (I am not allergic) and I don’t like the feeling. I’m on a busy schedule I work 2 part time jobs and will be starting school again full time in next weeks. What can I do to get rid of the man boobs and pot belly. I know exercise but what kind of exercise do you recommend (I don’t care about being cut just losing this fat) and when should I see results…..I want to do fun things that I am afraid to do because of my body image such as swimming. Please help and please be specific because I don’t want to have heart attack before I turn 30; I want to eat healthy and find a good exercise program to have a great looking body. My target date is December 3, going to a cruise and I want to swim and do other various actives that I feel em-brass to do. Thanks..
